These Terms of Use govern your use of the Spektio service. By using Spektio, you are deemed to have accepted these terms. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use the service.
Description of the service
Spektio is a device monitoring service that collects application, web, and gaming activity on the devices designated by the observer and reports it through a web panel. The service also offers management features such as remote site blocking and event notifications.
Account and responsibility
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and your monitoring key.
- You undertake that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for all actions carried out through your account.
- If you notice any unauthorized access, you must contact us immediately.
Lawful and authorized use
You may use Spektio only in a lawful manner. In order to monitor a device, you must have legal authority over that device.
- You may monitor your own devices.
- You may monitor the devices of your minor child, of whom you are the legal guardian, for supervision purposes.
- Within an organization, you may monitor only devices belonging to the organization, by informing employees in advance and explicitly and by complying with the applicable legislation (e.g. KVKK).
Secretly monitoring the devices of adults who have not given their consent may be unlawful. Using Spektio for unlawful surveillance or harassment, or in a manner that violates the rights of individuals, is strictly prohibited. All liability arising from such use rests with the user.
Unacceptable use
- Using the service for the purpose of unlawful surveillance, harassment, or stalking.
- Installing Spektio on devices for which you are not authorized.
- Reverse-engineering the service, misusing it, or attempting to circumvent its security measures.
- Using the service in a manner that violates the rights of others or causes harm.
Intellectual property
The Spektio software, brand, and content belong to Spektio and are protected by intellectual property legislation. No transfer of rights is made other than the right of use granted to you by these terms.
Service continuity and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will operate without interruption or error. To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable legislation, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. We may modify or discontinue the service with prior notice.
