Data Protection Notice (KVKK)
A notice regarding the personal data processed by Spektio under Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the purposes of processing, the legal grounds, and the rights of data subjects.

This Notice has been prepared to inform data subjects about the personal data processed in connection with the use of the Spektio service, within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").
This text is for general information purposes only. Observers who intend to use Spektio within an organization or on the devices of third parties must separately establish their own disclosure and consent processes in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Data controller
With respect to the observer's account data, the data controller is Spektio. With respect to the activity data collected from monitored devices, however, the data controller is the observer who initiates the monitoring and determines the purposes and means; Spektio acts as a data processor for this data.
Personal data processed
- Identity and contact: full name, email address.
- Account security: encrypted password or Sign in with Google identity, session information.
- Device data: device name, operating system and version, device fingerprint, and the device username if any.
- Activity data: application usage durations, the titles and addresses of visited sites, gaming activity, screen time, and attempts to access blocked sites.
Purposes of processing
- Providing the monitoring and reporting service.
- Creating accounts, verifying identity, and ensuring session security.
- Delivering email notifications for requested events.
- Ensuring the security of the service, preventing misuse, and improving the service.
- Fulfilling legal obligations.
Legal grounds (KVKK Art. 5)
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds that it is necessary for the establishment and performance of a contract, the legitimate interest of the data controller, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, and, where necessary, your explicit consent. In extensive monitoring scenarios, it is the observer's responsibility to inform the monitored person in advance and explicitly and, where necessary, to obtain their explicit consent.
Transfer
Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent necessary to provide the service, with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations (authentication, email delivery, and hosting infrastructure). Your data is not sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Rights of the data subject (KVKK Art. 11)
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about it if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing, to request the correction of data processed incompletely or inaccurately, to request its erasure or destruction when the relevant conditions are met, and to claim compensation for damages in the event that the processing is unlawful.
As the user of a monitored device, for requests regarding your activity data you must first apply to the observer (the data controller) who initiated the monitoring. For your account data, you may submit your requests directly to us.
