How to Block Instagram: Permanent Methods on a Computer

Instagram is one of the apps that best captures how "let me just take a quick look" turns into a lost half hour. Method 1: Blocking Instagram with the hosts file

The hosts file is a local list that maps domain names to IP addresses. When you point a domain to 127.0.0.1, the browser cannot reach that site.
